So Tall.

When you’re so tall, you can’t see the roots of the trees.
The sun is closer.
The men are farther away.
Everything becomes an obstacle.
The moon is brighter.
Your limbs hurt.
To be beautiful, you must become a statue.
You feel Grecian.
Shoes are bigger.
Clothes are more expensive.
You’re never as skinny as you’d like.
Feeling small around a man rarely exists.
Everyone stares at you.  All the time.
You make an entrance.
Picking up paper is a workout.
But you’re just the way you’re supposed to be.
